Do you hear sound from a video for a couple of seconds here ?
For the last week or so, I will hear the sound of what sounds like a video of some kind starting ... the sound only lasts for about a second and then stops.
Now happens everytime I get on the Corvette Forum. Don't happen on other sites.
So I'm not crazy.
Hasn't happened at CF, but has other websites, first few seconds of an ad for a dealer local to me whose site I'd recently visited.
Buggy Google marketing bot run amok.
So yea, 'they' probably are watching.
If 'they' are a message: get-a-life.
I just heard the first 3 seconds of a Culver's Hamburger Resturant commercial before the sound stopped.
Then I quickly scrolled down to the bottom of this Corvette Forum web page, and there is was ... A Culver's commercial video (without the sound).
So, it's pretty obvious that the Corvette Forum is now loading advertising videos. Just so happens that the sound only lasts for a second or two.
BTW ... I am using a Dell desktop computer with Windows 7 and Google Chrome as my browser.
This even happens after cleaning my 'history' and 'cache' using CC Cleaner.

BTW ... This is a snapshot of the Culvers commercial (after the sound stopped) ... The video commercial was still running. I photo was the very end of the commercial.
And here is the video at the bottom of the screen (after the sound stopped)

I too am getting a short audio clip on the CF. Mine is a Toyota commercial.
Well, it's always a different video commercail every time.
I can understand them having all these ads placed on this forum (they are making money) ... but including video ads with sound is bull **** ... even if the sound cuts out after starting.
Sure I am logged in ... If I was not logged in, I could not post here.
BTW ... I view the Corvette Forum on a Dell desk top computer using Windows 7 and Google Chrome internet browser.
Maybe it's folks viewing this site on a smart phone that don't have this problem.
That pic I posted above is from a mac desk top. The smart phone version has new problems as well. When I click on a thread that I previously viewed it no longer goes to the latest post in the thread. It goes to post #1.
