Anyone know why so many of these test/mule cars with ZTK are driving around without splitter endcaps? At first i thought it may have something to do with snow on the road potentially getting scooped into the grille(s) but there are examples above in snow with them installed...

Is it just me or does the front splitter look like it's about an inch or so to wide on each side? Seems it would look a lot better being snug up against the body. I'm referring to the non ZTK packages.
