Ordered Brand New from Kerbeck Atlantic City exactly the way I wanted it. I would highly recommend them. Price, Car buying experience, Service and most importantly, Service after the sale were all impeccable.
Local dealer because they had the car I wanted. I had ordered one at a different local dealer and it arrived the day after I bought mine. Fortunately, I had not been required to make a deposit. When I buy another Vette, it will probably be from Stingray Chevrolet.
Got a price from the big dealers took it to my local dealer he came within 100.00 of it and they had what I wanted, so I pulled the trigger as GM additional 10% off list was about to end.
I factory ordered mine from Brian Cullen Chevrolet in St Catharines Ontario (just a half hour from Niagara Falls) They are the second largest Corvette dealer in all of Canada. I couldn't be happier with the experience, even though it was a long wait since I ordered the car during the shutdown (but I originally had planned on ordering it in time for a spring delivery, so getting it in December was way earlier than my original plan) I've already put in a set of Lloyd's mats and have lowered it on stock bolts. This is by far the best car I have ever owned, the more I drive it the more I love it! (I now have 720 miles on it, we've had quite a few nice days this winter with clean roads!)
Purchased all 5 Vettes I have owned by getting exactly what I want and had Bowling Green produce!
Bought several from Kerbeck, who sponsor this page, just click the logo on upper right of any General page. Great folks to do business with.
You can order exactly what you want, no compromises and get about the same discount as they offer for cars in stock. No hassle, no haggling. What they quote is exactly what you pay! Took 15 minutes to buy my Grand Sport as I knew exactly what I wanted.
I also found a small local dealer who accepted Courtesy Delivery for $250! Did not cost a penny more. So ordered and paid Kerbeck and the car was delivered from Bowling Green to the Courtesy Delivery Dealer. In this case the service manager was great as was the C7 Tech. Because they are small only this C7 Tech touches Vettes. It was 30 miles from my town and was treated great.
They get paid from GM for the prep and in my case to install the Stage 2 aero package. Service Manager found some small paint issues I would have missed and in 2 hours the body shop manager had that fixed (no doubt GM paid for that as well.) IMO, the no hassle way to buy a Vette!
Ready to buy the wife another BMW SUV. Wish I could buy as simply! Lets see, her 4 year old BMW SUV has a Black Book value of XXX, I will calculate an acceptable (to me) discount from MSRP, and start haggling! At one point getting up and walking away I will say: "Well, we are going to look at a Cadillac SUV before we commit" (Not Really!) "Oh common back we'll see what the sales manager can do!" Last BMW the manager of the large dealership came over with the salesman to where we were sitting and I expected more haggling from the price offer I wrote on a piece of paper with our Porsche Cayenne trade. The salesman left saying this won't work! Expected more haggling but to my surprise she shook my hand and said you bought a car and talked with my wife as the manager was new in town! Wife is much nicer than I! We'll see how it goes!
Bought mine from Hendrick Chevrolet in Duluth, GA. Drove down from Charlotte, completed a trade, and drove it home. Took my Dad along for the ride, who didn't know why we were going until we got there...It was an awesome day!
Looked locally but just couldn't get the C7 I wanted at the price I wanted. Then I found exactly what I wanted at the exact price I wanted with Mike Furman at Criswell.
Checked with the Richmond dealers and none had what I wanted or weren't willing to offer any real discounts. Found the 16 Z51 I wanted at Bud's Chevy in St Mary's Ohio.
For me a new car is almost a commodity item. The only diff is what you pay.
I send out 12 emails to 12 dealers around the country including the BIG internet dealers.I got the best price of all these and gave a local dealer the final shot.
Hendrick Dealer in Charlotte,City Chevrolet beat the rest and since they are local,it was my best all around best option.
MacMulkin baby! The smoothest, easiest new car deal I have ever made in my life! Here it is on pickup day. I had to fly there to get it. One of the coolest flight/road trips I have ever taken.
Interesting you are in south Jersey and went to MacMulkin with Kerbeck in your backyard. Since I am shopping I am curious why you did not choose Kerbeck???
