I have a 2012 base coupe with the "heavy duty brakes" option which included the drilled rotors and BLACK calipers. There were 750 base coupes produced with that option in 2012.

You are one of 750 with J55 ("heavy duty brakes"), but one of none with "BLACK" calipers...from the factory. Factory colors were silver, grey, yellow, red.

Not that this discussion of brake caliper colors is going to save the world or anything, but my 2012 with the J55 heavy duty brake option not only has BLACK calipers, but the car also has F55 mag ride suspension, so I guess Motortrend is mistaken about that, too.
