The ZR1 has a large rear wing that creates massive downforce. To keep the car balance, GM has redesigned a front Splitter included a new underwing design instead of just a splitter.
Does anyone have some pictures of the new front underwing?
I'm very curious to see pictures of the new design.
Thanks, Bob
I dare say it's in streetspeed 717s video where he's filming the PDI process. The under tray has a few rectangular cutouts that you can see the horizontal radiator through. It gives a direct path for air to pass down through the horizontal radiator and out the bottom of the car.

I saw his video's but they only show the front underneath area before the wing was installed.

I believe the opening between the black and red elements of the front bumper in the first picture are the underwing. It allows air to pass over and through the front splitter and not just dam up in front of it to create downward force. What we don't see is a picture with the final undertray in place to see how far it extends back.

Later on in the video, the wooden ramp eventually fell off. In fact, the OP in the video made the comment of how the tires on the new ZR1 were just that sticky...

Never seen that before! Those tires might have some stikum on them like the stuff Jerry Rice used to catch all those footballs from Joe Montana in the NFL!
