Default Will C5 rims fit my ‘89?

Thanks in advance: I am looking at a set of C5 wheels and tires (seller dis not state year) but fronts are 245/45/17 and rears are 275/40/18. Tires are dated 2015 apparently. They are 5 spoke polished rims.
Would these be a direct fit? Bolt pattern the same? Any concerns about offset?

Yes they will. But, there's a but involved. You need to run a spacer. 1.5" in the rear and 1.25" in the front if I remember correctly. You want a solid good quality hub centric set. I ran a set of C5 wheels on my car for a while until I ran across a set of ZR1 wheels. I might still have my spacers laying around if you are interested in buying.

Ok, let's just ignore the first reply completely. It's easier that way.

Generally '88 and newer c4s can run any stock c5 wheel without any issue. Since you posted tire sizes and not wheel sizes it's impossible to know for sure. If they are factory GM wheels you shouldn't have a problem but it doesn't hurt to get the wheel information including the offsets and post them up, all of the info is stamped on the back of the hub of earch wheel.

The C5 will fit without spacers/adapters but the rears for the base C5 wheels will be slightly inboard. (about 9mm (about 0.35") compared to the C4 wheels.)

The sizes and offsets are listed below.

88-96 base
16"x 8.5"- 50mm
17"x 8.5"- 56mm
17"x 9.5"- 56mm

ZR1 rear
17"x 11"- 36mm

Grand Sport rear
17"x 11"- 50mm

C5 base
17"x 8.5"- 56mm
18"x 9.5"- 65mm

C5 Z06
17"x 9.5"- 54mm
18"x 10.5"- 58mm

I put C5 wheels on mine a couple times. See pictures below. Without any spacers.

Note that the rear C5 tires are taller than the fronts, so it will change the "rake" of the car. I did not like that change and if you have stock C5 run flats they are very stiff too.

C5 wagon wheels (the thinspokes (polished or painted) have the same sizes and offsets.)

C5 Z06 wheels (replicas with the same sizes and offsets as stock)

I have the Z06 replicas on my 95 Admiral Blue Coupe. Work well and look amazing!

You are lucky. I love the admiral blue. I had a '94 and still regret selling it.

QC, the wheels on the white car are 17x8.5 and 18x9.5? I really like the look and think I could find a set for a good price but I would like to keep the tires from my 91 and like the same 17x9.5 both front and rear.
