Sounds like a good idea, mine really produces a glare. What did you use?

Finally was able to get it out of the garage and drive it. Roads are still full of pot holes. Had to be very careful.

Please report back what you learn. I thought the flow was the other direction, .... from the TB into the valve cover area and then vented out trough the PVC circuit into the intake. But I'm usually wrong. Just ask my wife!

I know how you feel, it's April 6th and we're getting snow in Western MA.

Took a look at it - still there - LOL, then checked the intake manifold number to see if I have an L6 head and manifold - and I do. (2002 Base Vert)

It's pretty nice here in Naples Florida today - 86 and sunny.
Just took my C5 on errands to hardware store and auto-zone to pick a few things.
Got another month before we go back north to Vermont - taking Corvette back and swinging through Nashville for a few days.

Replaced the battery and she started right up. Got an Interstate with 5 yr warranty. Now I have to wait for Mother Nature to cooperate.

Changed the transmission fluid from some kind of red synthetic back to Dex III, but the one with the friction modifier - GM part no. 88900399. The garage that reconned my car before selling it to me added a quart of a synthetic (it's probably Redline, B/C that's what was put into the motor). I don't think they knew about the paper blocker issue in the trannies before 2000. When the oil came down into the pan, it had clouds of shiny metal in it; it looked like candy apple burgundy paint with loads of metal flakes in it. Shifting is graunch-free now and seems smoother.

Also adjusted the emergency brakes. Lots of meat left, just put a few clicks into the mechanism after spraying the whole affair with brake-cleaner, and the e-brake doesn't pull up quite all the way anymore, and the car stays planted on my sloped driveway.

Lastly, I removed the center console to adjust the shifter. I discovered the PO put in some sort of blue-anodized short-shift kit into the car. I pulled it out and lubed it up with some white lithium spray grease, and pinned the shift shaft while I loosened, then re-torqued the box and shaft to spec.

Shifting is much, much more direct and accurate now, and I think my reverse-gear popout problem is either licked or reduced. I suspect I will have to pull the tranny down and do the reverse gear switcheroo and replace the fork pads at some point in the future.

Dusted it off, drove it and wound up at a car show for autism. Had a great time. Video will be posted in a day or 2.

Ordered from Amazon from West coast corvettes for 49.99. Black with C5 emblem in the middle. Fits perfect with HUD. Cut the Glare by 90% and I have a 2003 A/E so the shale color dash really had a bad glare when driving.
