up on advice from several forum members on my oil leak problem with the rear of the engine and the front seal just starting to leak, I put a qt of Lucas Engine Oil Seal after jacking up the car and taking a liter out. Put about 120 miles on it this afternoon and will put some more on it tomorrow and then jack it up and clean it again. Tomorrow I should cross the 120,000 mark on my 03 Silver Coupe so will have my camera with me.
The mission today was add the 9 miles I needed to roll over 120,000 miles on my 03 Coupe. Mission completed, car washed and vacuumed and back in the garage.
Replaced the O2 sensors and installed a XSPower 3" exhaust. The OTA pipes were actually acquired from LG Motorsports and required slight modification to fit the XSPower mufflers.

I stopped at Harbor Freight and picked up a low profile jack. Then went to Autozone to rent a tail pipe cutter. Got home around 7 and 2 hours later this is what I heard.

I like the GM radio that came in my car, so going to a double DIN, touch screen, backup camera, Bluetooth enabled radio seemed to be a step in the wrong direction for me. Since it has been exactly 40 years since I quit smoking, I decided to re-purpose the unused ash tray in my C5. With the help of an angle grinder, Dremel, sander, and a couple of files, I cut away enough area in the bezel to mount the display for a backup camera in the area where the ash tray used to be. E6000 cement sticks like crazy and should keep the display fastened where it is supposed to be. The size of the display worked out just right to allow me to retain access to the cigarette lighter plug in case I need to power a GPS or cell phone charger. Mounting the actual camera on the license plate was pretty simple and, as it uses Bluetooth to transmit the image, the only connections I had to make were into the backup light wiring.

I was fine with the Bose as well. Played AM better than my Kenwood, but I REALLY wanted nav.
3D printed a nice little curved arm that fits over the edge of the A-pillar trim and has a ball on the end to work with my Garmin GPS unit. I got tired of the suction cup losing its grip on the windshield and falling off. Also I can see my drivers side fender now.
This keeps the GPS unit up high enough that I don't have to take my eyes off the road to look at it but keeps it far enough from the steering wheel that I'm not hitting when I turn or use the signals.

Slideshow: A Jaguar designer's personal project imagines what a modern front-engined Corvette might look like if Chevrolet revisited the golden age of the Stingray.
