Oh and the car still only has 50 miles on it, so the pads will be broken in along with everything else!!!

A hard 590 miles Wednesday, hard due to the trip to say goodbye to a dear relative. Shakedown cruise for the Range, the Powerstops, and the $19.98 Walmart lumbar cushion to separate me from the LT1 mag framed seats and their backache while "grand touring". First blood on Virginia/West Virginia "scenic byways," crossing rural roads Potts Mtn (3,691 ft) and Peters Mtn (4,072 ft.) Gorgeous day, temps 50-60's, but the mountain roads were covered in scree from the highway department's gravel and salt spread for Monday's snow. All nannies on deck and much respect of the curves due to their their marbled surface. Powerstops never faded or gave any impression it was other than a walk in the park for them as they went down the hairpin curves of the mountains. Range kept the squirrel cages perking along with all 8 exercise wheels spinning all the time, exhaust in track mode, no CELs thrown the whole trip. on the interstates the ride in Touring (upgrade performed) was more comfortable than my wife's Benz. Seat comfort improved to that of my old C6 for all day travel, a real compliment. However, my more petite wife said the new lumbar cushion pushed her away from the seat back, so we stowed her cushion in the trunk on the road home. Very happy I bought the door kicker panel covers and the sill covers, even with soft sole shoes I was putting scuffs on them.

Thursday. temp at 75, top popped, and I fell in love all over again with the convertible. 1400 miles of smiles to date.

Will take some time to tell but I added for appearance.

If I was your neighbor I'd think this was totally normal.

Installed another trunk divider/sound deadner, this ones got better "rubber striping" instead of just $ 6. a roll weather striping.
Got to hand it to Southern Car Parts for giving me the idea, the just started selling a 1/2 thick board, wrapped in carpet for $ 150.
I can do that and make it better and for 1/3rd the cost.

Got NEW Conti's on. They are night and day from the stock Mich Cup. Smooth, quiet, a little more play, but I'm not racing 100% of the time
cheaper, IN stock, Tire Rack thank you! No run flats, but in 46 + years I've had 3 flat tires. I'll play the odds. That's why they make tire plugs, right.

Bought a "Bin Buddy" shelf from Amazon. Great price ($32.70) and free shipping with Amazon Prime. While some people have done their own version from different materials, the original shows a lot of attention to detail as the dash cubby is not square.

This had the advantage of being much cheaper than almost anything I could have thought of adding to my car, but with all the same satisfaction of having done something worthwhile.

I do it all the time with everything I own. It's way easier to wash wet before it dries.

Had my windows tinted yesterday. Went with 30% ceramic tint, Llumar Formula One Pinnacle ceramic tint in 30%. Did it all but the front windshield. Much improved in the looks and comfort.
