★Quiet Down Your Interior in Seconds!! / Blockit Sound Deadener - FORUM SPECIAL

You would be shocked at how many different foams there are and how many are wrong for this or a similar application. Once you sort that out, now you have to figure out which dampen and which absorb best. Of those, which work best together. Once done they have to be FMVSS-302 Tested & approved (well at least the foam and materials used in the Blockit are).
What adds to the cost is the next 2 materials and the steps that follow.
You will need barrier. ...and yes like foam there are many different types. The one for the Blockit is a proprietary blend created in house.
Now you need to bond all these layers without glue. The Blockit uses another unique proprietary infused method which bonds the layers without adhesive so there is no glue smell and the layers wont separate.
The last layer is a textured urethane which helps protect the materials so you can still use your trunk/ cargo area and place items on top of the Blockit.
Your last step would be to have it cut so the mats (there are 3) fit perfect in your ride.
Did I mention all of the above is all done to ISO 9001-2008 standards , made in the USA plus the materials used are also from the USA (not overseas).
So imho, i don't think its "pricey" and as you can see its not just a "foam product".
As for money back Guarantee... there is a restock fee in place but this like many items, can be simply returned.
Give us a shout if you have any other questions
Thank you

Most use a Lloyd (or any carpeted) mat so we have looked into that. The carpeted mat caused no issue with the effect of the Blockit.
However, my feeling with the use of a hard rubber type mat is that you might get less reduction in noise and heres why...
The Blockit is designed to suppress and absorb irritating noise. Using a hard rubber mat will prevent the Blockit from doing the 2nd part of its job (absorbing.) I feel that the ambient noise will be reflected & bounce off of the hard rubber mat.
So yes you will still get a reduction with the the use of both the Blockit and the Weathertech mat together, I think you would get a better reduction with just the Blockit.
Again, we have not tested this but, that's just my opinion.

It will attack road/tire noise..... and lets face it, there;s nothing sexy about that . It also helps with loud exhaust. Absolutely takes off the edge but it will still let the sweet exhaust note come through when you step in it.
Now if you have drone, the blockit will also help with that but it will not eliminate it. Drone is a frequency which is hard to completely eliminate. If you are experiencing that you might want to also consider getting some DeadMat (or similar) along with the Blockit to help dampen the area.
We really try to not paint a false picture. The Blockit is a quick efficient way to help take the edge off irritating noise in the cockpit in your cockpit in seconds.
But if your looking for Cadillac quiet then unfortunately this would not be for you.
