Thank you for your purchase!

The main purpose of Cleartastic has always been to provide amazing clear protection that was "newbie" friendly. We design all the kits so anyone with no experience can apply with great results.

Front end pieces are a little harder to apply which takes us a little longer to design. Again, we have to make it so the pieces almost fall int place. There cannot be trimming.
So we won't sell a kit if we feel its tough to install. So to answer your question, we will have front protection too. We just have to finalize the kit.

However, the kit that we have out now protects a few major vulnerable areas. Its an area we get requests for. Thank you

Thanks for the question.

But Im not a fan of placing anything on headlights as it could hold/retain heat. GM had a major issue with headlights crazing from heat a while back.

A couple of questions: Can it be applied over ceramic coating or does the coating need to be stripped first? Should it become necessary what's involved in removal of the Cleartastic?

the corvette headlights look HARD to do, I’ve done the weathertech kits on a few cars myself. I struggled for HOURS on my GLE350 headlights which are similar in complexity to the C8. This kit looks pretty easy for the side of the car. Those areas are relatively flat. I think a DIY could get these on nicely.

Fresh batch of kits cut & ready to ship!

So sorry we did not see these questions until now. I truly apologize.

No. Paint protection film typically is not applied over ceramic coatings. So yes if you're looking to protect your paint, just on those areas where you would apply film, remove any coating.

Yes, this kit is designed so anyone can apply it and get professional results. The fact that the entire area is flat, also makes it even easier.

Thank you much for your suggestion!

Indeed. My problem is... we can protect the paint around and beneath the sill plate. But what about the sill plate itself? That gets kicked too. But Im not sure how it would look with film on it.
So I have not moved forward.
