Probably your battery is nearly dead. Possibly alternator.
Are you getting this message before you start the car? While running? Sitting at a light after driving for an hour?
What voltage is showing at idle? What voltage at 3k rpm?
If you disconnect the battery and let it sit for an hour what voltage does the battery show?
If we knew exactly what your issue is we would put auto repair shops out of business…you always start with getting your battery load tested at your favorite auto parts store…your engine has to be running over 1000 RPM to supply the car’s electrical system and to keep your battery charged…don’t know if you have a DVOM or electrical skills to test your charging system so I won’t go any further.
it means you ain't got enough voltage to properly operate the vehicle.
parasitic draw is an occasional problem with C5s - one time, my driver's seat movement switch got stuck & continually pulled power until the battery died. didn't realize the problem until battery #2. another problem is an intermittent ground.
could also just be if your battery's more than 5-7yrs old & don't want to hold a charge no more... or if your alternator's shot & don't want to charge no more... or if your belt's shot & not turning the alternator (but would also conjure up other problems / errors).
