Default Preventing C8 Theft

With all the thefts at the Corvette Plant and published thefts and carjackings of C8s from mostly cities with laxed crime prevention and punishment ... aside from the Solar App and ability to "kill" the car by secondary means .... saw this approach today at Cars & Coffee .. could be a good deterrent ... what you all think?
We've heard of
We've heard of "coil over" suspension setups .... how about a coil over security device?

Its called concealed carry. I never drive my vette without packing. And when I am fueling up my head is on a swivel. And with the ZO6 I fuel up a lot. Lol.

Perhaps the ENTs can have a couple wheel locks installed before taking the owner to the ER.

in all seriousness, would a Ravelco be a good investment? I heard it was near unstealable. Anyone have it in their C8?

Do the simple things to help stop a would-be thief...Keep your car in a garage, don't leave the key fob in it when unattended, even an old school steering wheel club will help

I was curious to I did a google search for Ravelco. Right away I found a video of a guy using some sort of a probe to bypass one in about a minute.

You can talk all you want about carrying but you cant shoot someone trying to take your car I'm afraid. You'd be tied in in court and lawsuits by their lovely family so long you'd wished you given em the car in the first place. Used to live in Calif and no way you'd get away with that. In Idaho now with free er gun laws ans still you couldn't get away with it. If you all know a loophole or I'm missing something I'd love to hear it.

8 varieties of rattlers, scorpions, etc, plus we dont need conceal carry in most cases as we have open carry. No registration, no BS. What a change from IL where we came from!

I see a great many messages in quite a few threads about protecting one's C8 from thieves. In the end, it's just a car and we all have insurance. Sure, it would be a PITA to have to go thru the claim, reimbursement, etc BUT. the toll on one's health from paranoia from such an event is not insubstantial. Guns, steering wheel locks, Faraday cages, all those preventative measures? Really? I like my C8, However, I reiterate, It's just a car.

My 2¢

Haven't you seen the C8 fueling fire thread? You're supposed to be paying attention to the fueling ready to stop the it in case of a malfunction. Can't do that if you head is on a swivel. Don't know where you live but all you guys "packing" would be in a world of hurt if you killed someone in an attempted carjacking. Some low life lawyer would take the case, best case manslaughter.
