Tried the Turtle Wax Seal and Shine on my wife's new Hemi Challenger today. It rained shortly after I did it. The stuff really causes the rain to bead up. I also did my GMC Pickup but that gets the garage Great at beading rain water, easy to buff off with a good microfiber. I would categorize it's shining capabilities as only average. Considering how little this product costs, not bad

You are the only one who will decide if a product ends up sitting on your shelf. But, if you are looking for a sealant that is durable, it obviously is very.

UPDATE:
This stuff is holding up VERY well. My G37X is driven daily, and sits outside 24/7. Northern IL weather was rainy when I applied the Seal 'n Shine, and has been a sunny 90ish degrees and humid ever since. I have bucket-washed the car a few times with gentle car soap (Nanoskin "Nano Suds"), and have wiped it down a few times to remove dust and light rain residue with nothing but waterless wash sprays. I have avoided detail sprays that add any polymer or wax protection so I can let the Turtle Wax do all the work.
Well, while parked outside of my office on Monday, my car got covered in some kind of reeeeally sticky clear mist. I didn't even notice it on the paint. I noticed it on my windshield when driving into the sun. Looked like tiny rain droplets all over the windshield. When I got home, I ran my fingers down the hood, and sure enough, the whole car was covered. The droplets had hardened, too. Almost like someone near my office was spraying some kind of chemical and my car got misted. I tried using some waterless wash to remove the stuff, but it required too much pressure. This stuff needed something stronger to remove it without scratching the paint.
Daylight was running short, so I drove to the local coin spray wash. I sprayed the entire car with Eagle One iron remover, then blasted the car clean in the booth. The combo of iron remover and strong coin spray booth soap will usually wipe out or severely weaken most waxes and sealants. Well, not today. Check out these beads!
This is inside the spray booth right after rinsing, on the upper quarter panel right behind the side windows. As soon as I moved the car, these beads cascaded down the panel. The surface is still as hydrophobic as the day after I applied the Seal 'n Shine. I am extremely impressed with this stuff. Still hard to believe it is less than $10 per bottle, and even harder to believe it is made by Turtle Wax. LOL
If this stuff enhanced gloss, it would be perfect. Brain at Apex Detail tested it with a meter and found that it actually can slightly reduce gloss. I think if I were to use Seal 'n Shine as my sole means of paint protection, I would at least wipe it down weekly with some type of gloss-enhancing topper. Maybe Meg's D156 or Wolfgang Uber Rinseless after washes as drying aids, or maybe Bead Maker once per month. Just something to boost the shine, because this stuff obviously is providing all the protection I could ask for. Stay tuned for more updates!

bought some and put it on sons [outside] car and both vettes so glad to see your update . by the way , bought it at walmart after seeing price of $6.97 on computer . but when i got to store price was $9.97 which i questioned . clerk looked it up and lower price was only when purchasing on internet and not in store . guess i'll read computer more closely next time . . .peace....ps. also put it on sons windows and needed to use wipers next morning . windshield has always had streaks when running wipers and this time it did not it was just streak free .

only me again . it seems as though this ''seal and shine'' attracts less dust . the dark blue vette is usually covered with dust and today i had it outside in sun and it was basically dust free . i'll have to wait till this occurs a few more times to be sure . or , possibly you folks found same thing but didn't mention it . . .peace

Totally agreed on the lack of gloss. It is definitely just a very durable protectant. The new Eagle One "Wipe and Shine" detail spray was tested to be durable and add gloss. Topping the Turtle Wax with that would help. In fact, that would be the perfect "bought for cheap at Walmart" winning combo. LOL

So your review has prompted me to grab a bottle for my daily driver, a 2012 VW Passat diesel. It's got 148K miles and the paint while nice, is road rashed up front. I figure if this stuff is half as good as you say then I've found a new "wax" for the daily drivers. It went on SUPER easy, and after a short dry, buffed right out. Thanks for the good review for sure @FYRARMS !!!

One lesson learned so far. Use VERY sparingly, and do small sections. If it comes close to drying before you start buffing, it's a motherf****** to get off. Just a quick light spray, put some elbow grease into it and start wiping until it's dry. It's similar to Zaino, it' doesn't take much at all.

So yeah, here's an impromptu testament here. This happened yesterday, I noticed the transfer today and did the vid real quick because it REALLY made up my mind as to how good this stuff is.
