Which one? The real one at the museum, or the split window model!

I am still trying to figure out what was "Lost" about this C4 Corvette.

It was just another 1984 or later C4 ... Maybe the "Lost" had something to do with this car being Lost in some junk yard before they attempted to make it look good.

After they finished this C4 "build" ... Unfortunatly, the car was still not worth more than about 7 thousand bucks (on a good day)

However, I did like the "Lost" Corvette a little better than this C4 ...

I DVR'd the show, and like most on here, all of the guests seemed shocked by their initial impressions (in a bad way). Most of them had to say something nice about it, but they had to think long and hard to find anything nice to say about it.
I did not like the large gaps all over this car, especially around the front fender to hood gaps. Big gaps around the hatch window as well.
For me, the Split window looked like an aftermarket add on. IMO, you cannot make a large hatch window look great when making it look like a split window. No Way, no how!!! That also goes for the C6, and the aftermarket stick on Split window treatment on a coupe.
Why didn't they mold a split window as was done in 1963, to make it look like it belonged,. and not an add on.

Lot's of money spent, but not in the right areas of this car as far as I was concerned.

One word YUCK!!!!

what is worse, the execution of the finished product, or the fact that it won two awards?

This car always looked to me like it was hit in the rear, and the rear quarter panels folded down. The epitome of a pimpmobile!
