Lol, yeah I did make an account for this. A friend shared the link and we were discussing the builds of both the car and the team associated with it

Update: Took the car to Prize Fight 6 at Ohio Valley 1/8th mile Dragway in Louisville KY last weekend. I knew the track prep would be awesome with Jason Ruckert and Kurt Johnson there. I tested on Thursday and because my car didn't meet the rules in any other class, I entered the X275 class to get some additional passes in a qualifying/racing scenario. The car ran great, and went several new PB's including a 1.20 60', as well as 5.21, 5.19, 5.16 in the 1/8th mile, all at 136-137ish mph. (For you 1/4mi guys, that's an 8.02-8.05 range 1/4 mile pass when I add my 1/4mi back split from the last time I ran it through the 1/4)

Unfortunately in the 4th round of Qualifying the racer next to me also spun, he pedaled it, it hooked left, he pedaled it again, then crossed over and hit me and Pushed me into the wall. Iím ok but the car took some damage.

Looks great Eric, just out of curiosity, is the other driving stepping up and paying for the repair? I don't know anyone who has been in that scenario.

Holy **** man, I thought I had bad luck but if you didn't have bad luck you'd have no luck at all.

Glad to hear you're OK and I hope the car can come back even stronger this time.

Oh man. Absolutely brutal. Sorry to see it.

Out of curiosity, which hubs / wheel bearings are you using?

Glad to hear you’re ok. Really sucks about the damage. Killer passes though.

Best of success getting it back together.

Thanks guys. I'm fixing it now. I needs a Door, Fender, Wheelhouse, Rocker, Spindle, Rotor, Wheel, Lower Control arm, Ball joint, Plus paint on front bumper, door, rocker and all four fenders.

The front is TRZ stuff. Those guys are great; I can't recommend them highly enough.

He apologized at the track, but didn't offer to pay for any of it. It's racing, so he's not obligated to pay for it. 'm going to fix it, then reach out to him with a total (looking like $2.5-$3K range) and see if he's willing to help out with some of it. If the roles were reversed and I caused the crash, I would be helping the other guy before fixing my stuff
