Yes on my C6 I always went by when the oil temp hit 100 before I would rev over 3k....the nice parts about the C7 is the tack tells you when the car is warmed up and ready to flog.

Eh ... It tells you when coolant is hot enough. Not oil.

Wow! That's a really useful gage arrangement. I can not find it on my 2016. Can you share hoe you set it up? Is it something only available om a newer model?

rickmd, if you mean the gauge display shown in this picture that is the Touring Display and can be seen if Touring Mode if you have the gauges set to sync to drive mode. You can also set the gauges to Tour Mode permanently by using the settings commands accessible on the steering wheel. Can find how to do this in your OM.
