What a moron.
Noticed that too. Surprised he didn't nuke the rear end while he was still on the highway.

When he left the freeway and stopped why didn't a couple of the cops immediately pull in front of him so he couldn't just take off? I found it odd that they stopped beside him and left it open for him to move forward.

I'm not a cop so take this for what it's worth, but during/after a high speed chase, the suspect is considered dangerous. The cops are going to take cover and draw weapons, give the suspect commands to exit the car. If other officers were in front of or even directly beside the suspect, it would put them at risk of cross fire.

But I do tend to agree that with 16 cars in the chase, they had plenty of man power to box him in and drag his fat *** out of the car.

And the cops are super-pumped on adrenaline - a fact we learned after the Rodney King fiasco.

There must be a lack of supervisors to allow that many cops to join in. 3-4 is usually enough, unless they are after a known felon. Most cops have a defined patrol area that they are assigned to. When they try to join a chase their patrol area is uncovered and they can't answer calls for service. Also with that many guys running with red/blue lights on there is a good chance that at least one of them will wreck, or run into another one. Patrol cops are often bored and will use any excuse to join in a chase. I've seen them drive 5 - 10 miles just to get to the chase when there are already enough cars to handle the job. This os one reason, of many, that required experienced supervisors. In addition, more cars often result in lawsuits for several reasons.

You should turn your plow truck into a tow truck for C4's only, you'd make a killing.
If OT is going to dis the C4, first they should know a little about what they are talking about. There were NO Opti's on the old Doug Nash and older "Ceasefire Injection" C4's. The last ones with OPTI's were the ones GM had to fib about the HP rating so as not to embarrass the soon to be released C5's.
