I hope that's supposed to be an and/or thing. I don't believe in newer is always better. I love the C6.

unfortunately, I'd let her go.... how much time and effort to spend rebuilding? get one that's never been in a wreck and just drive

oops sorry, i automatically assumed GS for some reason. Yeah, not a dry sump.

If you were near me I'd come over and make offers for a lot of interior pieces... I could always use a spare. If you have the time, you might want to part it out and sell it slowly but like everyone said, its going to be very low in total other than the engine/big undamaged body panels (e.g. hatch, top, seals) maybe a little $ for the cats (for california people).

If the frame isnt damaged you could turn it into a vette cart - look up cleetus on youtube.

As a former insurance adjuster (39) years. Our company used to receive about 20% of the retail price for the salvage. Less for total burns, and more for strip jobs. You can call wrecking yards yourself and ask for a salvage bid. Send them the pictures. When the insurance company makes an offer, make them justify everything.
