CD Stacker Stopped Working
It seems I never learn..Last week I removed my cd-stacker in order to install Koolmat in the back of my 98 coupe. All I did was remove the screws and unplug it from the wiring harness. I installed the Koolmat, plugged in the cd-stacker, mounted it back in the same position with the same screws. Tested the electrical by opening the door to see if the cd cartridge popped up. It did, so I thought all was well. I started the car and pressed the AUX/CD button nothing , not an error message, nothing. The radio still works fine. What happened? Do I need to reset something?
Ok...24 hours and no response. I am thinking no one has had this problem?????

I've been going round and round with the changer in my 03 coupe since I got it, last December. I've had the pleasure of actually playing cds a few times. It has, however
scratched up and cracked 2 of my favorite ones. Previous owner said he gave up on it, and had a cassette thing that played ipod stuff, but sound was marginal. I hesitate to change the head unit out to double din. It seems that Chevrolet screwed the pooch on this deal.
Good luck- I hope you find a fix.
Oh, a guy on utoob took his loose from the brackets, and gave it a good smack. Remounted it and it worked. Sounds kinda crazy...

If you can't get it fixed. and still want to remain with the stock setup, I have both the radio, and cd changer in storage, and would be willing to sell l them.

Of course, who buys CD’s nowadays?
Get an adaptor to plug in the stock radio, to run an iPod through. All your music on your LT can be in your car!
