Default Post your 60 ft times with street tires.

I'm looking for a good street tire that can hook well at the track. I use the MT Dr's and usually get into the 1.6 range but they are just track tires. I use Toyo t1S as my daily tire & get about a 2.0 at best.

My best is 1.93 on 305/30/19 Nitto Invos with the stock clutch. With the grabbier aftermarket clutch I struggle more and saw 2.0's my only time back out.

My regular street tires can't hook for 60' times - I have a best of 1.6 60" on MT ET Streets if that counts for you

Thanks,Matt

I've pulled off a few 1.9x (with the x always being 5 or above) but am happy seeing 2.0x. It's hard for me because I don't drag race all that often so I'm NEVER in practice when I show up.....

Michelin run-duds 0 --> 60 was consistently 2.5 to 2.7 seconds. Once the car hooked, off she went. High 12's and low 13's at 109, 110 and 110. The trailered in Mustangs did not care too much for me.

Survey SAYS! in best to worst order Of course there are so many variables to determine the winner of this lame surrvey (ie: HP, gearing, track conditions, weather, etc., etc) but its a quick & dirty comparison none the less.

1. Nitto Invo 1.86, 1.93, 2.02
2. BFG KDw2 1.86 (Tie with invo)
3. run craps 1.91, 2.0
4. Sumitomo Htr zII 1.94
5 Toyo t1's 1.98, 2.0
6. Michelin pS2 1.98
7. Nitto555 2.0
8. BFG g g force 2.125
9. general UHP 2.133

I've ran these on a previous car and can vouch that those are great tires, especially for the price!
