Default HELP dome dash lights not working. Confused

My radio and a/c lights up and works. But the controls for cd and station changes, a/c selections and the lights rightt of the stering wheel controling fuel, trip, reset, etc. are not lit at night. HELp have checked all fuses under passenger side and beside the battery.
Is there something set that tturns them off or something. Its hard to believe its bulps or something since they are in two different locations.
Thanks in advance.

Use the **** on the dash right of the steering wheel above the hatch release. This is a retostat ie hold left or right to dim or brighten dash lights and interior. Push may have a function also can't remember at this moment.

Thanks for input, Tried that and pushing just turns them on. Also tail lights not on either. Is there a fuse or relay I don,t know about. Jeff

There is a little round glass ball/ sensor on your dash the detects light. It is used to tell your car's computer the current time of day, i.e. Sun light, Dusk or night time. It will (if your lights are turned to Auto) turn interior/ head lights on/ off. I'm not sure if it has it's own fuse? Is it being blocked by anything? Do the light come on when you open your doors? Lastly, is the "Dimmer" switch turned to full brightness?

Yes, it's always nice to get feedback so we know how these odd little quirks get fixed.

I do agree though, if a guy figures out how to fix their problem, they should have the courtesy to post up about how they did it...

OP hasn't been on the forum in the last 2 years.

That's what happens when you revive an old thread.

Try to get out of the habit of doing that.

To all that's interested, bad fuse in the engine fuse box worked for me. The CAGS or whatever it's called.
