Default 93 Octane Gas Oklahoma City/Norman

Does anyone know where to find 93 these days?

I know of one place on N Western. Soon enough, that place will become my gas station, but until then I am looking for places that fit within my daily routine.

I thought this was going to be easy as the Shell on I44 had it... but it is closed!

Lets build a list!

I believe the Shell on North Porter, in Norman has it but not 100%

Is there any 93-octane in Oklahoma that doesn't have alcohol in it?

You might need to get some 101-octane unleaded and mix it with lower-octane gas station unleaded to get the 93 you want.

Shell at Avondale and North Western (63rd and N. Western) is where I get mine. They truck it in from Arkansas and be prepared to pay about $2 a gallon over 91 octane.

Looks like I will be running Torco then! Such a shame that 93 is so scarce here in Oklahoma City. Maybe if I could get a good deal on 101 I would do that instead... But I think it would be hassle to store it all at the house.

How much 101 does it take to turn 17 gallons on 91 into 93?

1-gallon of 101 mixed with 4-gallons of 91 will give you 5-gallons of 93-octane.

2-gallons of 101 mixed with 8-gallons of 91 will give you 10-gallons of 93-octane.

3-gallons of 101 mixed with 12-gallons of 91 will give you 15-gallons of 93-octane.

3.5-gallons of 101 mixed with 14-gallons of 91 will give you 17.5-gallons of 93-octane.

Red Rock is selling 101-unleaded for $7.25 today. The mixed 93-octane would be $4.25-per-gallon if 91 was $3.50-per-gallon.

They will have 105-unleaded for $9.50 later next week.

Thanks for the tip!

Looks like I might go grab some 101 from them on Monday and use the Torco I bought for emergencies.
