Default ***NSANEC6 1000HP YSI Corvette build***

Here are some photos of this NSANEC6 corvette as we have been doing some extensive modifications to it throughout the recent weeks.
When it came to us it already had quite a few modifications including a Vortech supercharger.

We started by tearing the old engine out and installing a Fully Forged LSX block 427ci Engine.

Then we moved into the fuel system installing a Custom LMR 1000hp Return style fuel system. This system utilizes an in tank Aeromotive A1000 fuel pump with a Aeromotive pump speed controller.

Then we finished installing the rest of his accessories including the old supercharger system

Here is a start up of it after we got the supercharger system and everything installed

Then we decided that old blower wasnt going to be enough So we upgraded to the YSI.

And here is the Initial dyno results on a VERY mild tune up.

Detoxx03,
Thanks buddy. I am actually letting a shop that knows what they are doing take care of me this time....All of the team at LMR and LME have been professional, courteous and given me lots of advice so far.

Chris and Doug also shared some advice with me and when I chose to step up to the YSI Chris helped me out and overnighted the unit to LMR for me. ECS has been great through this ordeal.

I do not want to digress to far in this thread. It is really hard for me considering the irresponsible and criminal behavior of my previous builder. I basically was delivered a car that was good for little more than a paperweight. It couldn't be driven without something breaking.

Jay, Steven, Josh, Bryan and the guys at LMR/LME agreed to take the mess I was left with in and try to correct all the problems in the original build. After tearing the car apart and discovering so many issues with the motor build Bryan and I decided to proceed with a 427 LSX motor and along the way we have made some additional upgrades.

I want to use this thread to highlight the great job that Bryan at LME has done so far on my motor build and the time and effort and quality work that Jay, Josh, Steven and Paul have put into my car at LMR.

So everyone stay tuned for the finished product. It has been 2 years in the making and I cannot wait to get her back.

What is standard on an ECS kit? 3.3? 3.25? I can see the OD crank. Just wondering because I'm always interested in what Ysi's make at different pulley combos.

Unfortunately it's the 6L80. Beefed up by Mike Kurtz at Century Automotive and Transmission in Houston. I also have a custom transmission brace that Chris (aka) The Subfloor designed installed.

3400 Yank Stall and B&M fan powered tranny cooler.

Mike is doing the fine tuning on the transmission at his shop. We all know how finicky these 6L80's can be.

Glad to see you getting the car back and done right. Bryan gave me excellent service and a great shortblock and so far its been excellent. Keep us posted on how she runs. I am especially interested in how the trans holds up to that power.

Yes it was locked.

Steven is doing the tuning. Its nice to have someone who really knows what they are doing taking care of the tuning on the engine and tranny.

Good luck on your build as well...

I also have some Kooks headers, 3 inch tubing with catless X pipe and an Akrapovic Exhaust. Josh handled the custom welding to get this exhaust installed on the auto.

I cannot wait to hear her run in person.

I have been reading all of your posts.... With everything that I have gone through with the car so far I am NOT trying to find the weakest link... lol

Unfortunately due to the amount of money I have spent on this car... Considering I have ad to have the motor done twice.... I have had to stay with the stock heads and intake for the time being... I knew someone would eventually ask.
