The Sinister Black C7 Z06 thread.....
Greetings Friends,
Some say that the "Murdered Out" look is played out and wreaks of "Rice"
But I don't (see my avatar) The new C7 Z06 is very SINISTER and MENACING in BLACK
Imagine seeing this BEAST in your Rear View Mirror
More pics to come. Stay tuned...
Save The Wave,

I agree, maintaining a black car is a pain in the A$$
But for the 5 minutes that it is clean, it's quite stunning

that 'someone' is correct. Own a few blacks and you'll never again.......total p.i.t.a.
.........and black hides all the details, wheels included. No thanks. Vettes deserve a nice color

agreed, black looks great the day you buy it new, then its a constant PIA. Plus you loose all the subtle lines of the car. There are better colors that suit that car. IMO, your car does look great!

That's funny, these lines don't seem to be lost by black.
But no black wheels for me. I'm hoping the Z06 will offer something like competition gray for the wheels. If all they offer is the painted silver, it will be chromies once again.

Yes, like the Gino Vanelli song, "black cars look better in the shade" because in the sun, swirls and all flaws show.
Listen, I mean no harm, had plenty black and nice when clean but I had enough of the color

I think some cars look great in black. Cars with less detail . The black does blend in the scoops ,intakes and difference in color on the rear end upper and lower on the Corvette but to me it loses too much. On car like old 911 turbos it looked great , on Mercedes 4 doors. SUVs etc but is a major pain to keep looking good and too **** for it. Vowed no more black cars after my 1977 Trans am Bandit . And have pretty much kept to that vow. Have black drag race car but got it super cheap.
I especially hate the total blacked out look. Not much of a fan of black wheels. Prefer chrome wheels. I will concede that black and chrome go very very well together.
And if get a Harley will for sure be getting a black one.
The corvette does look good in pretty much every color. And for sure black can make a car look more menacing, more evil! One of my favorites is like the 1998 to 2002 Trans am ram air cars. That car has a lot of detail but still looks pretty great in black especially if you do thinks like put aluminum or some chrome in things like intake ducts, emblems, wheels.
