Cool .. did you have to provide power to the homelink stuff or is battery-powered?

I would assume it would get power from the same source as the vanity mirror lights.

Part number?

This is the only thing on 2LT I really wanted.

My dealer just quoted me a list price of $283.94; Net price: $236.66 plus tax!! At least $189.00 is much better, but still a bit on the high side. I'll check the "gmpartshouse" then. THANKS

Part Number/Description

I think I paid less than this through Fitchner. Without a doubt the best place to by OEM Corvette parts from.

How exactly does it attach to the visor? Does it use the screws you mentioned to fasten it to some preset holes which are accessed through the visor material?

I have the Homelink on my 2LT. I love not having to hang the garage door opener on the visor.

I see screws on the 2LT Visor but not on the 1LT see attachment. Is this just a cover?

Bob at Fitchner has the best price on these as well as the rest of the GM parts.

The visors are identical in how they mount with 1LT, 2LT and 3LT. The screws are located behind that little cover which snaps on and off. You reuse the little cover when you do the swap. It has a slot in it so it can be removed from the visor and transferred to the new one. The swap should take just a couple minutes.

CSEVEN and/or leadville1:

Just to make sure, can you confirm this part number is the same as what you purchased and installed?

Part Number/Description
23148817 SUNSHADE

GMPartsDirect.com has it for $150.49 + $36.12 for shipping and handling, Total: $186.61 This is the lowest price I've found.

The catch is that since my VIN will show my car is a 1LT, it will not show up as the proper part for my car. So they would not accept a return if it's not the proper part according to there parts matching system. So, you can see that I really need to make sure this is the correct part number.

THANKS.
