Default Official Shark Gray Color Thread

As per Mike's thread, I drove up this morning to pick my car up. We had a great time and I got the car home safely. Unfortunately I missed the good light by the time I got it washed and Zainoed. (I should have just taken photos once I got it home as Mike's guys had it clean for delivery anyway)

In any event, I know there are others here who were curious about the new Shark Grey in various lighting and Shark Grey with the red interior, so I took a few inside and a few outside shots - even though the sun was setting through the trees, which made for not so great car photo lighting.

I'll try to get better photos in better light soon.

Default I spent almost 2 years searching for the perfect vette.

Was looking for the perfect C7 with all the colors and features I wanted.
Grey was the main necessity. Finally found her 2 months ago and bought her that day sight unseen.
Flew to Louisiana 2 days later and drove her home. She is perfect. I couldn't be any happier.

I wrestled with that for quite a while as the red calipers look fantastic with a red interior, but decided that I prefer a cleaner look. No regrets.

That's the idea! You're happy with your choices is all that counts. The car looks fantastic!

I like you color combo! Are the GT seats comfortable?

It was about 140 miles home and I found them very comfortable. I had been a little concerned that since I tend to sit with my legs splayed that I might have the issue that some have complained of with the side bolster digging into my leg, but I had no issues at all.

Congratulations on a stunning looking Vette. If I had waited for a 2015 I would have broken my traditional selection of Arctic White or Torch Red for my Vette (see signature below for my sickness). If I had ordered a 2015, I am virtually certain I would have selected Shark Gray.

Enjoy your new Vette.
