Scuncio Chevrolet RI
Has anyone ever heard of Scuncio Chevrolet in RI? Apparently it is no longer there. I bought my 69 N-14 Coupe off the original owner in Johnston RI. The partial build sheet indicates it was delivered to Scuncio in RI. Still has the holes where the dealer plate was affixed to the rear above the letters. Seems it was kind of a race-ready type dealership. Just checking to see if anyone has heard of it. Thanks.

John,
Scuncio was a well known high performance dealer back in the day.
In addition to Corvettes, they also sold a fair number of COPO Camaros and I believe that they were also an authorized Yenko distributor as well.

Thanks Stan, I was toying with the idea of finding a Scuncio emblem for my 69 since the holes are still there.

There were a few... "A lot" would be stretching it though.
Good luck on the emblem. Scuncio was into the really high performance stuff so they've got a bit of a "cult" following in the auto memorabilia world... Which means their stuff tends to be a bit pricey.

Stan

I bought my new 1968 corvette from scuncio chevrolet in 1968 from salesman bob Johnson who had a race team of Camaro Raced under the name Strip Teaser. I still have my 68 and it has the scuncio high performance dealer emblem on the back.

I bought the car in RI from the original owner. An older guy named Mario (goomba...I can say that as I am 1/2 Italian).
