60TH Anniversary ZO6 Cyber Grey $49,000
SOLD.................................... ........................................ .............Cyber Metallic Grey and Beautiful---Odometer now says 5700 miles. This Z06 is pristine.
I've owned this ZO6 a little over a year and have loved it. I also bought a 93 LT1 a short while back and love it to. I want a chrome bumper Vette now but not enough room or money so I,m selling the Z car.
Here's a link where I bought it from on the forum and some more recent pics.

GLWS..whatever the (trivial if well cared for) mileage difference is between 1400 and 5100. Nice car!

No, the heads have not been addressed. But that brings up the question what does addressing the heads require?
I've read about engines blowing up and the heads were to blame on some cars.
I guess the GMPP extended warranty is a pretty handy thing in this regard.
I have not received any recall from Chevrolet about it.
So if any of the forum members care to share with me what should a responsible 2013 ZO 6 owner do about this it would be appreciated.
For now, I just drive and enjoy the car.

Drifting
Lots of contradictory opinions, arguing, wailing, teeth gnashing, foot stomping, temper tantrums, etc. etc.
Bottom line is to replace the valve guides with quality non-OEM pieces and have a high precision valve job done to ensure the valve guides are perfectly concentric with the valve seats.
I just did it on my 25K mile 2008 ZO6 a couple months ago. I was going to do it as a preventive measure anyway, but when I pulled the heads I discovered two guides that were badly worn out of spec. One intake and one exhaust. It only takes one to grenade the motor, so it was money well spent.
Gorgeous car, btw. I also have a bone stock 2012 3LZ and I'm depending on the warranty for now, but when that expires I'll pull those heads too and have them done.

Burning Brakes
It has a 5 year warranty on the motor if kept stock, so sell as is,
it has a warranty. If it goes boom, GM picks up the tab. GLWS.
Got the same car, color. I am keeping it stock and will do valves
at 5 years when warranty runs out.

Thanks
I have no intention of deviating from totally stock with this car.
OOPPS!, I forgot that I did add the skip shift fuse and the selective exhaust fuse which are totally reversible with no effect.

The in service date (original date the car was purchased) is June 22, 2012. The car has 5 years 100,000 mile drive train warranty from new. It also has an extended GMPP warranty so the expiration date of the warranty is June 22nd, 2017 or 40,001 miles; whichever occurs first.
