This aFe PRO Dry S intake for your C5 Corvette produces 24 max horsepower and 29 lb-f. torque and out-flowed the factory intake by 13%. This air intake system also features a washable/reusable conical air filter and a heat-insulating molded plastic tube that replaces the stock intake tract and directs increased air flow with improved volumetric efficiency for maximum performance. The filter is constructed with 100% polyurethane for long life and multiple cleaning cycles. This intake is 50-state legal for 1997-2004 models (CARB E.O Number D-550-3).

Why do you advertise this as a cold air intake when it is not? I don't see any way that this air cleaner is picking up cold air from outside the engine compartment. It's just a fancy air cleaner with warm air from inside the engine compartment, not a true cold air.
