Ok...Who's ready for flared front fenders?
As the title states guys As most of you know I have been working with a new manufacturer on the diffuser we released. They obviously finished the urethane one, and are just about finished with the carbon version, so it's time for a new part. I spoke to them yesterday about getting started and they said they could almost jump on it instantly.
These parts are made in the USA and fit like a glove (as you guy's have seen on the diffuser) The reason for the new manufacturer was to improve quality and so far these guys have been great! I don't have an eta on how long this would take, start to finish. I'm kinda gauging at this point to see if there will be enough interest.
I would also like to know if there is more interest in urethane or carbon? I know most people will paint them, so I was thinking urethane, and also the final price would be cheaper in urethane. Don't hold me to this, but urethane would probably be in the $750-800 range for the pair and carbon would be about $950-$975. These will bolt on and fit really well with little prep before paint. Again, that is the whole reason I have a new manufacturer.
The fenders, im thinking to give it a flared look, and still not look out of place will most likely be 1 inch. I know not everyone will agree with that, but I can't make everyone happy.
If there is enough interest, I will ship them the OEM fenders I have sitting here and we can start on this in the next week or so and within 4-5 weeks (im estimating) we can have flared front fendfers ready to ship. Let me know guys, and gals

Advantages/disadvantages of urethane fenders instead of fiberglass? I have bad images in my head of warpy-wavy panels...

that won't happen. They have the ability to make these rigid even in urethane or decently rigid. The advantage is it won't break at a slight bump and of course it's cheaper to begin with.

I'm interested. Prefer 1.25"+ but depending on the look I could be swayed. And when you say "flared", are your plans to have a hard crease on it like the L5's or a nice softer flare? Or like the C5R's which show most of the width at the cove opening? Thank you for making this happen!!!!

If they look good and fit well, I'm interested.
