This may be a stupid question, but is there a difference in the seat bottoms? Are they interchangeable?

They are listing it as a different part number so either the mounting or foam position of the pad is different. Bear in mind if you are re-using your existing seat cover you would need to get the correct seat foam so when you install the cover back on it fits correctly. Thanks, Don

Good question, I can only assume that GM used the same seat frame for both seat, if they do then yes by changing the foam and seat covers you can upgrade. I just do not know for sure if the seat frame is the same.

I have been warned about fitment issues with seat foams from anywhere but “Corvette America”.

I just have to ask being that I don’t want to struggle so much I regret doing it myself.

I noticed that the left side bolster on my '99 vert seems to have broken. When I sit, it kind of lets me slide over it to the left. I assume the fiberglass piece didn't break, is there anything in there besides the fiberglass and the foam? If not, I'm guessing I need new foam. I assume you can use the old seat covers, they're not ripped or anything.

also I noticed you had a discount code above in the thread, I tried it and it saved $0.79. Is that what it's supposed to do?
