Jim's info is right on. I was a member of the Classic Corvette Club ( CCC) that Mr Hitchens was the head of. A good many of early NCRS members were also members of Mr Hitchen's CCC pre May of 1974 . Those early CCC members, myself included, became unhappy with the manner is which Mr Hutchins was running the CCC, and decided to form another corvette hobby club, hence the formation of NCRS. As far as I know, MR Hitchens was never a member of NCRS. Mike McCagh, NCRS member # 14. I still have the cancelled check when I joined NCRS. it was for $8 dollars and waS DATED MAY 24 OF 1974. MIKE
