Default No power to drivers side door

hey guys, new member here. I have a 06 base convertible. I am not getting power to my drivers side door at all. Local chevy dealer said window regulator went out so I replaced it. After replacing it the problem is there still. Fuses are good, first thing I checked. Passenger side door works fine. Nothing in drivers side work: windows, locks, memory, or mirrors. Any ideas?

Almost has to be something to do with the connector for nothing to be working. You sure you got it locked when you re-installed it?

Definitely sounds like a problem with the connector with nothing working.

I would pull off the protective bellows over the wire harness between the body and door and then check the continuity of all the wires in the harness. Think how many times those wires have bent over he course of 10 years opening and closing the driver's door. The copper wire can fatigue and fracture internally even if the insulation shows no damage.

Yeah we've checked that, the fuses, everything. I'm doing all I can to avoid taking it back to legacy Chevrolet. They quoted me at over $900 when the part they said was messed up was only $300. My friend is an ASE technician and it's been at his shop for over a month as it seems like we've tried everything under the sun to fix it.

OP has yo suck it up, open the door & confirm that which he's assuming.

Has to be connector, none of the door's various signals are being sent to BCM given the symptoms. Would put a C note on it.

If the connector's tight then the only other thing I can imagine is a problem with some kind of common ground in that connector that all the switches use.

Don't forget to look at the pin connections inside the connectors. One or more could have become unseated. They can also look o.k. but may not be seated. Gently pull on each individual wire to make sure. If you find one loose pull out the pin and flare out the tab futher so it holds the pin in place. Then reinstall. Good luck.

Nope, haven't figured it out yet. It's the craziest thing I've ever seen.

sooooo nothing in my driver door would work except the button to open. I also had a security light on. The fix i found was a broken red with white stripe wire between the door and the body. I pulled off the door panel and removed the door speaker. I also removed the seal trim and a cover just above the hood release. There are two connections there that can be undone and allows you to pull the wires back into the door. I then undid the loom and found the wire. Hope this is helpful to someone, took me forever to find lol
