I think the weather/track has a lot to do with results, also the driver may have input.

One thing that I have notice is a lot of the 9 second 1/4 mile cars run the AFE.

I have the AFE with the "low Flow" girlie gray filter and on the stock tune with MPSS OEM tires I can do 1.53 60' times, is that from the Instant God Fearing Power provided by the AFE or would the Halltech smoke the AFE in the 60'?

You would have definitely run like a 1.21 60' if you had the Haltech in there instead.

i got the sock with the HT CAI and I believe it helps to keep the incoming air cool.
My results from the Halltech were phenomenal. I did a detailed write up and review on it.
After adding the Halltech CAI (and torco):
my RWHP went from 518 to 591..
my RWTQ went from 546 to 635..

It that right?Wheel horse power on A stock Z06 is 518.I always thought it
Was closer to 570-580.I just thought subtract 11% from 650 hp.
Losing 132 hp sounds like a lot.

most folks report 540-550 RWHP stock..
a little more with manual cars than auto cars.. mine is an auto. Manual cars dyno better, auto cars ET better.

If your car is "fully warmed up", your factory tune will be pulling timing and power.
PCM begins pulling timing at 194 ECT.
PCM also pulls timing for IAT2 when it passes the threshold (I have heard this is about 140-145deg).
PCM also pulls timing for KR, if you are running 93 octane, you are seeing timing pull (and loss of power) due to not enough octane as well... these cars need 98-100 octane to avoid KR due to less than optimal octane.

Does HT make the intake tube and filter housing in carbon fiber as the AFE does? I'm about to pull the trigger on purchasing the carbon fiber AFE set up.

Really like my AFE, fitment is great and installs easily. Ran a 10.6 in bleh weather last night with it and a Borla x as my only mods.
