What's a good stock 7 speed 1/4 mile time?
I'm just curious what a good 1/4 mile time is on a stock 7 speed? im still using the stock PSS tires, and also what's the stock 7 speed 1/4 mile record on stock tires? I seem to be consist low 11s with 11.02@128 being my quickest so far. I'm trying to break into 10s but feel I won't be able to without drag radials.

nothing special, I leave it in touring mode with traction off, tires are around 25-26psi, traction is my biggest issue with stock tires, I tried to let out the clutch as smoothly and quickly as possible without dumping it and instant wheel spin. That ET I ran was the end of last year and just went to the track this past Tuesday and ran a 11.1

yea I'm lifting during shifts, and I have no traction issues going WOT in first as long as I don't just dump the clutch and get instant wheel spin, modulating the throttle and clutch is key. Comparing my MPH to the list that Higgs linked me to I should have easily been into the 10s but my 60' is what prevented that, I still need to work on my 60' and my goal is to break into the 10s with stock tires before switching over to Nitto drag radials.

I'd say an 11.0 with a stick is a damn good ET. With your mph, you definitely have 10.80s in it... Get you some better drag radials and get that 60' down in the 1.6x and you'll be there.

Melting Slicks
Are the pilot sport cup 2's any grippier for the 1/4?

25 to 26psi rear tires that's when hot right? cold maybe 22 to 23? fronts leave it 30?
Best time stock is 10.9, but how about average racers? Like without putting too much stress on the car ET.

Nice ET! I just got to 500 miles and have been messing around with the launch. for 2 days I can't launch it at all, didn't have problem with my other cars before. Then tried TC off then finally getting hang of it, need to add some throttle as you letting out the clutch. (when I had TC on the light never come on during launches, I guess it was interfering with it even light wasn't on) did you have rev match off or on?

That's about the best the C7 Z06 M7 can run. According to the C7 Z06 fast list(last updated 12/20/2016), bone stock on bone stock tires, only two M7's on the list. 10.901 and 11.057.
The best C6 Z06 M6 run is 10.981 and the best C6 ZR1 M6 is 10.664
