Cell phone holders (Android Pixel)
Hey what are you guys using for cell phone holders, this will be my Nav as well. I'm looking for a sleek, mount towards the bottom (by shifter). I have some decent suction cup ones, but not up for using them in the Vette.
Thoughts, pics?
I looked at the proclip, but seems a little aggressive on the way it mounts.
Thx.

I have an iPhone, but the Proclip is awesome. I'm not sure what you mean by aggressive, it just clips to the grip. It's super solid, and puts the phone just where I want it.

That's exactly what I meant, well I may just change my mind on the proclip then.. that seems to be the one most folks are using. Thanks guys!

Wuteku UltraSlim Magnetic Cell Phone Holder | Dashboard Mount | Universal Design
Works awesome and is not big at all, holds over any bump I have hit and that says something in Oklahoma

I bought this and love it.... magnet sits between case and phone.... drive all day over any terrain and the phone doesn't move an inch. Mounted in the same spot as cowboy Casey above

Everyone has their own way of doing things.
I consider a cellphone to be an important piece of emergency equipment that I don't want to risk being separated from in an accident, crime, or other bad event; or by forgetting it in the car. And I'm lazy about putting things on and off multiple times. So I clip it onto my belt when I get dressed, and leave it there except for hand-held use outside the car.
In the car, I use the Bluetooth connection for phone calls. Factory Nav for navigation, or my wife and her Ipad with Waze. An Ipod behind the screen for music, or the factory Sirus/radio. Life is easy.

I can make calls, receive them and the same with text messages, listen to music and use GPS through Apple Car Play and see no need for tacky phone mounts. The phone does get hot when plugged up inside the armrest console, but i just stick it in the radio hub if need be. No need for a phone to be out in this car especially in Georgia where the law is against cell phones.
