TPMS Sensor
I think its safe to say my LF TPMS took a dump. Started car and got a message on dic that I had high pressure on LF, (50psi). Pressure with gauge was 30. Reset, restarted and same thing. Disconnected battery, reconnected drove it for about 10 miles 3 reset at 32 and the LF is now reading 0. No more dic warning. Think its safe to say its shot. What do you guys think ?

Prolly, my LF (coincidentally) acts up once in a while and will drop to zero or show high pressure but goes away within several seconds while driving.

My LF has been acting up for about a year. I will get the DIC low tire pressure warning occasionally. When I check it is always the LF that show XXXX pressure. Always clears up after sitting all night and the next start up everything is fine. Why is it that the LF is one that seems to go first?

Heres someting to consider. Be sure you have a look at any new senors you get installed first to be sure you are happy with the way the particular brand looks on your particular wheels.

Yep..your TPMS is going bad. Just a matter of time before it goes out. Probably last 6 months to a year before it dies completely. Meanwhile you will be getting those warning on the DIC.
Dicount Tires did mine and reprogrammed it for $80.

I have one TPMS that has periodically read zero pressure for 4 years now, still hasn't completely died on me though! With my C5 when one of the sensors started doing that I generally only had a few months left before it would completely die, so I'm shocked this one has lasted this long. I only get the zero pressure reading maybe once a month, sometimes it goes many months in between, so it doesn't bother me enough to replace it yet.

Not unique to every MY, but unique to MYS. I believe the p/n quoted is for 08/09s, in 10 they used a different sensor, different p/n and different frequency. I believe, but don't know for sure, that the 05-07s used a different sensor from 08/09.
