Default I met with Corvette expert Mike Furman today! His advice to me was....

To go where my passions lead me! Anyway guys, so I know some of you have been waiting for a while to hear my experience with Corvette expert Mike Furman at Criswell Chevrolet in Gaithersburg, Maryland so that's what this post is hear to tell you. I met with him for about an hour today and he let me test drive the 2017 Grand Sport and wow...let's just say it was the best driving experience I've ever had. But back to Mike. WHAT A GUY. He was so so so informative, extremely low pressure, very understanding of my situation, and he didn't harass me about my decision to purchase a new Stingray because he sees guys at my age making less money than I will be making buying vettes and doing just fine. The genuine passion for the Chevrolet Corvette that Mike has is glowing on his face. He cares for his customers and you can tell he wants to see these beautiful cars driven by responsible people that can take care of them. I HIGHLY suggest buying from this gentleman. I know when I purchase the new Stingray, it will be directly through him. I'm sorry I didn't answer a lot of the questions you guys had for him! I didn't have a ton of time as it was so I asked all of the questions I personally had. If you're reading this Mike, thanks again so much. You've got my future business! This is a picture I got with him right after the test drive

Looks like a cruddy wet day to be test driving, but I'm sure it was still fun. Pull the trigger and get it done before 1/2 the people here try to talk you out of it !!

Mike is the best. We ordered a Stringray vert from him couple of weeks ago and it was very professional all the way

Default Great review

Yeah Mike@Criswell is the go-to-guy. He doesn't just sell them. He lives Corvette 24/7. Nearly 40-yrs experience behind him with around 4000 vettes sold. That tells you something.

We got a great group of forum dealers on here. He is an Elite member of that group as you testified to.

None of what you experienced is surprising. Mike is definitely the best in the business and I'm proud to have him for a friend. I also sell Corvettes for a living and can only dream about attaining his levels of success and competence!

I'm glad you were finally able to get together, and I'm not surprised at all with your experience meeting with him.

Mike is a great guy. When I met him at Carlisle this past year I told him I would be down to see him when I buy my first new corvette. I told him it would be a GS.. well, I one upped myself with the car I did end up purchasing from him 2 months later.

buying a corvette should be memorable experience not just a checkout line run of the mill purchase.

I would love to order my next new Corvette from him. But he is so good at ordering exactly what you want it would be a waste lol

Mike delivering a rare 16 admiral blue callaway Z06 at carlisle.

Went back one week later amd best friend grabbed one too.
3 hours away and it was a joy even though we trailered the cars back to be able to have the keys handed to you by this Legend of Corvette.

you can't go wrong with Mike.

Default The Ultimate Test Drive

A true testament to Mike and Corvette...... Your test drive was done in wet weather, and the Corvette survived!

And to think that you haven't even had the purchase and delivery experience!

Let's just hope that Mike continues well past his current 40 consecutive years of selling the Corvette brand...... To complete this sale!!!

nice.. kingsville was like 50 miles? I live right by the dealership... literally 10 min... was just there friday getting my track specs, alignment, oil and brake fluid ready for a summit point track day... I said "whats up" to Mike...seemed busy so I didnt bug him. I work for the Mercedes Benz dealer by him (top salesman there in germantown. He knew a few of the people i work with and they recommended him. I wasn't disappointed, straight and to the point. If you service there make sure to see Joe Guzman, he worked with me at Benz and is the manager there (or Dina) .. they do good work

after you get your vette you should come do some track days with me !

yeah it was so nasty out. The car handled surprisingly well though. I've never felt acceleration like that in my life! I cannot wait to make my purchase.

Cant remember how old you said you were, but Im 37.. bought mine 2 months ago from Mike.. I was 19 when I bought my Supra Twin turbo (was a 94 and I bought in 99).. I had a Nissan GTR when I was 28 when they came out...owned a few porsches, Audi's, a Lotus and of course Mercedes' benz's (still have a Mercedes to go with my vette)... the vette is my 40th car since I started driving about 20 years ago
