1963 having wiring problem I did something wrong??
Everything was working ,until I removed cluster to change all the bulbs, and as well put in new column bearings. Now I have not 12 volts on wire going to temp gauge and my wipers do not work.
Also put in new heater switch IT WORKS !
I'm 73 years old and getting a little desperate.

The wiper switch gets it ground though the cluster.

The 12v for the temp gauge comes from the same lt green wire as the fuel gauge. Does your fuel gauge work?

If you'll check and list everything electrical that does NOT work, I'll try to help.

Temperature gauge ( important to me)
Windshield wipers
All else including clock , lights , etc work fine.

Amp gauge reads 0 does not ever move was like that when I bought car,I know it's charging reads 12.7 volts on voltmeter when ildling. Not a real concern to me.

I based my response on the statement you made that you had no 12v on the temp gauge. If you don't, then you have a different problem than if you do. If you turn on the key and touch the wire at the temp sensor to ground, you should get full scale deflection on the gauge. If you do, then you have 12v and a bad sensor. If you don't, you have a broken wire, bad connection at the bulkhead plug, or bad gauge, or as you said, no 12v going to the gauge. There are just too many variables to be easily checked by typing on a keyboard. You probably need someone competent physically at the car to check voltages and grounds. If you were close, I'd gladly try to help.

turn on the key and hook the float rod in the gas tank. lift it up and see if your fuel gauge works.

If your original thought was correct and you don't have 12v on the temp gauge, first step would be to check the fuse. (fuses, counting wiper motor fuse)

Someone did this
Found all wiring at wiper motor disconnected ,hard to see at first because it's almost hidden behind distributer .to reconnect I had to remove coil and distributer cap. Could not have just fallen off. Too many people visit my garage I'm very suspicions off a certain guy who always call it the plastic car he's a mopar guy.

Hey, hey - I have a Mopar. We aren't any more warped than the typical Vette guy other than we like funny sounding starters.
Congratulations for diving in and working on your car at 73. You've got 7 years on me and I'm sure a few more aches and stiffness. Hope you get it sorted out.
