Default Quick DIY installation video for Vitesse Throttle Controller

I added a short installation video for adding a Vitesse Throttle controller.
It was a fairly simple procedure, but you just need to figure out where you want to mount the LED display unit. I added mine to the center console.
My only complaint is the brightness level of the display. It is very difficult to read in daylight.

I have been looking at getting one of these. I think the older model didn't have the LED display.
How do you like it? Is it extremely noticeable on throttle response?

I haven't installed this but I have had to remove the gas pedal assembly to replace it with one of those nicer OEM pedals. Removing that gas pedal assembly is such a pain in the *** that it soured me on getting one of these haha. Great video!

Great video! The only way I'd be able to get under there is to remove the seat and the steering wheel.

I like the throttle response with the Vitesse. I've only had the car a few months, but I did notice right away that I seemed to have to push harder on the accelerator to get response. This makes the response more linear and feels like a sports car should.

Thanks for sharing the video. Wish I had seen it before I installed mine last week. I agree the red l.e.d. display is too dim and is hard to see the display. I mean red l.e.d. displays were eliminated from cars during the eighties for this reason. It left me puzzled why they also went to a less reliable reostat style selector switch/button. Guess someone in the company felt that if you can save 2 cents on parts they can save thousands overall. I once worked for a company that had this idea for saving money. They are no longer revelant as they used to be and lost a lot of their market share.

We actually decided to make our own remote display with the **** for 2 reasons:

1- It makes it much easier to increase / decrease the Throttle response by simply turning the **** left or right...
2- The first remote with the 2 buttons was outsourced from a different company. This is now our own custom designed remote.

It was a decision we had to make to be able to differentiate our Controller from other cheaply made copies you can find everywhere.

Just installed mine today. Throttle response IS extremely noticeable.
I HAD some doubts to but not now. Feels like a different car. Buy it.

Thanks for the video, nice clean install in the console. So you removed the center console piece to run the cable & mount the controller, I wish you would've made a video on that too. Is it involved?

I used the instructions on Ray Kawal's website for removing the center console.

Nice video.. I bought a Vitesse Controller and never had any problems. Now I started to
have problems with the pedal sensor. Car would go into limp mode. Everytime I would clear the code and accelerate the car, it would go into limp mode. I since removed the controller and code has not come back. Should I contact Vitesse Motorsports?

Did you try re-calibrating it? That seems to fix most issues.

Did you ever get any resolution to this problem? I've had a Vitesse Throttle Controller on my C6 Grand Sport for about a year now & no issues, just great seat of pants improvement.

Anyone have any issues with theirs over time?

I've had the Vitesse for over 2 years and haven't had any trouble with it. I would not want to be without some sort of throttle controller. People don't realize how sluggish the response is on these cars are with the factory settings.
