Dyno numbers low? 535whp 485trq btr4
Hey guys so I just called synergy and told me my car dynoed 535whp and 485 trq. He said this seems real low on torque. And does not know why my mods are. Kooks headers, catted x pipe, z06 exhaust with muffler mod, halltech intake, heads milled .20 not potted, btr 4 cam. And c5r timing chain.
I did see my cats were super black I wonder if they are clogging my filter seemed dirty. I have stock tb and intake what do you guys think?
Thanks

So you have unported heads, stock intake manifold, stock TB, cats, and a BTR S4 cam. Who picked this combination of parts out? And you're the one that drove around on a stock tune for a while, correct, and ended up with gas in oil issues? I'm a fairly nice guy, and not trying to be a dbag, but I can see a future post titled "hole in block, what now?".

Dynos vary and all that, but yes, that is extremely low for the combo and indicates a large issue somewhere.
Its not lack of port work/etc. I've made 570-580rwhp sooooo many times on heads never off the car with a smaller cam than a BTR4.

I do notice sometimes when I close the exhaust the mild to wild when I drive it closes all the way and when I'm parked I open it and close it a few times it doesn't close all the way until I drive it and open and close it again. Wonder if I still have a vacuum leak.

Nope, just big cam issues. Very common on cams that large.

Hmm I think my cats are clogged I am on a dynapack that he said reads low. But my cats were super black when I first took them off then put 100 miles on it rich on only a startup tune (don't ask why it was mostly going to tuner and back to solve my problems) wonder if the cats are KOed

The fact that you don't know how you can install it wrong, just shows what is wrong.
How much preload did you get with that length pushrod?

In for Dyno Graph...don't know if the car is grasping for air, et what RPM the power falls off, and how bad it falls off, etc. In any event, I'm sure your car is begging for an MSD intake.

That's really low, I made 536whp 485tq with a mild cam, callaway, PRC265cc heads, and cat delete on a pretty accurate superflow dyno. Something is really off.
