Solid motor mounts
Hey!
I want to use solid motor mounts in my 1969 427/390 car. Searched at the search function and at Summit, but couldn´t find anything right.
Please can anybody tell me which solid motormounts are to use and where to get (Summit)?
Thank you, Günther

Melting Slicks
When i put my 427 BBC in my 77 camaro, we lowered it 1.5" down into the chassis. I had a 7 litre Moroso kick out pan, which was stock depth. i also bought 2 sets of engine mounts, i bought Moroso solid mounts and Alstar short solid mounts. I i had to slide the frame mounts down 3/16 of an inch to line up with the short alstar mounts on the block. But it all fit. Lots of ways to do it. Use the Moroso bottom mount and the Alstar engine mount

You're looking for Moroso # 62530, which fit all SB & BB C3 applications with stock engine location. I've had them in my shark for years ever since an angry BB attempted to exit thru the hood when a stock mount failed on the driver's side.

Tighten it down until it compressed the rubber.
That was 1969.
I could lift my left front tire then on a holeshot.
We figured this one out after a buddy's fan hit the shroud and blew apart into the radiator. Shrapnel everywhere.
To OP
Go for the solid mounts but keep a rubber/poly trans mount.
