Default Z06 build questions ~ 700 whp?

Hey all, couple questions here. I have a 2016 A8.

My goal is to get ~700 rwhp +/-5% and to have a street drivable car.

Current mods:
- Corsa Xtreme Exhaust
- Corsa Xpipe
- Katech ported throttle body
- Halltech CAI

1. What additional mods would I need? I'm assuming 18% lower pulley, meth, e85, flex fuel kit, Long Tube headers 1-7/8, tune
2. Will my Corsa X-Pipe fit with American Racing Long Tube Headers or will I have to use their X-pipe? (AKA will I have to sell my corsa x pipe)
3. Will it be a problem if I am running 93 gas 95% of the time, and e85 maybe once every 3 months? If so, is it possible to get 650+ rwhp on 93 without going crazy on mods?
4. Are these modifications worth it? What do these really do for the car?

- Catch Can
- Expansion Tank
- Thermostat

Thanks for any advice,
Mike

I'd like to know too! My guess is Xpipe, headers, pulley.

I'm going to slightly more expensive route next week or so ( MAY 7th to May 15TH ) . I have long tube headers already installed with Haltech intake , to be installed in May , Meth kit and Pro charger D1SC , nothing outrageous , just want to make around 725 to 750 rwhp .

I'm right at 700 with CAI, 15% lower pulley, dual nozzle meth injection, flex fuel sensor running 100% E85, and 2" long tube headers with x pipe. As long as you are running meth injection with the 93 octane, should be fine.

Im going to do a build with the following and expect to have 700+ whp when running e85 and around 650 when on 93

Halltech
18% lower
Flex fuel
Meth with dual nozzle
1 7/8 headers
Tune

The corsa x pipe will not work with long tubes.

Ok. Cool. But what mods don't void my warranty? If I blow the motor after a meth or pulley mod, I got a 3400 pound paper weight on my hands
I think 650rwhp 650 torque would be sick.

You can likely get away with the Halltec... everything else will void your warranty

Wanna play gotta pay

Without a tune you'll be lucky to crack 600rwhp unless you're on a happy dyno.

I'm at 700 CAI, headers, Cam, 15% pulley, dual valve springs, no cats, Akrapovic exhaust, tune, 93 pump gas.

With the flex fuel kit are you okay to run 93 for months at a time before filling up e85 once? Or do you need to run e85 more regularly

It's just an inline alcohol sensor, there are no requirements.

What would a tune get the car?

on it's own more horsepower and torque, but the point is, you can only bolt on a few parts before the ECM doesn't like it and you start to get CEL, etc and the torque model is off and it doesn't shift right, and so on.

you need a tune to bring it all together, just like GM did with the stock tune and the stock parts.

What are the number on a stock car tuned? Does it blow the warranty?

dynos vary too much to quote that, IMO. I don't really think it's worth tuning a bone stock car (or at least one that will stay otherwise bone stock). 30 HP?

if you are going to jump into the mod pool then yes, you will want to tune the car.

yes, it will blow the warranty and there is no way around it despite some people wishing, hoping, and dreaming.

+1000 exactly what he said! As far as dynos always concentrate on the gains made, the before pull and after mods and tune pull. I hate it when people ask for numbers when exact mods have been made to 2 cars and they think their shop is better cuz it made 15rwhp more than brand x.
I know people want to keep their warranty and the car is fast enough stock but no matter what you do there is always someone faster. Enjoy your fast car with or without warranty lifes too short!

part of that equation would be our upper pulley kit and our low side fuel system for the e85. ARH requires their x pipe as the connection is moved much further down, also if spinning the blower hard and doing lots of pulls our heat exchanger is a great addition.

A local shop seemed to really be pushing getting a ported blower, is that really necessary for my goals?
