I finally jettisoned the original GM shocks that came from the factory on my 1999 Vert, FE1 suspension. I went with The B6 Bilstein HD model that more closely resembles the original OEM setup. The ride is firmer, but not teeth rattling at all. Since I don't race or push the car at all to its limits, this seems like a good choice for me and am pleased with this change. I had the shocks installed at Abel Chevrolet in Rio Vista, CA. Those guys do great work and thanks to those on this forum who recommended them. Abel Chevrolet will get more of my business.
