Price on that ad seems high. Don't rush on buying one until you've seen many others

And are you G or F?

That is a $20,000 car at most. If you have the cash hold out for the right car. For $25,000 there is a very nice 92 with less than 25,000 miles and some mods by a member here. If you have cash in hand and a little time these cars are out there.

I did some more reading on the car you listed and it sounds like it had several issues that had to be addressed; like water in the gas tank

What exactly does this mean? Upon reading about the water in the gas tank and the other work done to the car I would pass all together, there's just too many nice cars out there to settle for a less than a 100% car.

Post 62 - 1990 (#2067) LT5 Top End Rebuild (C5 Z06./Wilwood Brakes, SW Headers, Aluminum Radiator)
Post 76 - 1991 (#1427) LT5 Rebuild (C5 Z06/Wilwood Brakes, SW Headers, Ron Davis Radiator)
Post 119 - 1990 (#3032) LT5 Top End Rebuild (Fluidyne Radiator)
Post 133 - 1990 (#0072) LT5 Top End Rebuild (Ron Davis Radiator)
Post 230 - 1995 (#0186) LT5 Specific Top End Rebuild (C5 Z06/Wilwood Brakes, Fluidyne Radiator)

Wouldn't buy the car you linked. Really nice ZR1's are (unfortunately) $17-25,000 today with the high end prices being for really spectacular cars.

Wow, there's a 1990 with 107 miles selling for just under $40,000. I think we'll be seeing those at the Barrett Jackson auction selling for BIG money in a few decades.
