Guess it's time I introduce myself...
Hello everyone,
My name is Scott, I'm 30years old and I live in S. Carolina. I have been wondering around this forum for months now and have found Alot of helpful information.
I purchased my electron blue c5 z06 in October 2016 for $15k. It had 88k miles and only mods were Hurst short shifter, Blackwing intake and LOUDmouth exhaust.
In the last 7months I have been trying to fix all the bugs (driver mirror cloudy, visor mirrors falling down, Front spring cracked in the middle, windshield wiper motor, and other small things like that) i did put some tint on the windows, and have been working on my driver mod.
Well the time has finally come for me to make this car my own so I dropped my Z off May 3rd for a BTR stage 3 cam, TSP 1 3/4" long tube headers, LS2 timing chain, and Dyno tune. It should be ready for pickup May 10th. I'm beyond excited, and alil nervous because I think it is going to be to loud.
My plan for this car is to make it a well rounded performer. I hope to take it to the strip afew times and possibly find some local autocross events, but mainly this is my weekend warrior not a daily.
I currently have a list of parts that I will be saving up for which includes,
Front tires-Toyo proxes t1 165/40/17
Rear tires- Toyo proxes r888 305/35/18
LS7 Clutch/Fidanza Aluminum Flywheel
ecs diff brace/pdaft trans mount
Z06 exhaust with electronic cut outs
3.90 rear end
That's all I have for now, I will update this post later with pictures. Im currently at work and have a lack of service.

Scott - sounds like you have a good plan in terms of mods for the car. You'll find lots of good and helpful information here in the C5 sections of the forum. Post up some pics of the car - we all enjoy seeing them.

Thanks all for the warm welcome, and I plan too keep reading and researching various topics. This forum has already helped me so much, and I'm sure it's just the beginning of learning how to take care of this vette.
Here is my blue Z, and afew other random pictures.
I'm thinking of applying for a vanity plate soon and for now I'm thinking it will say, WINGNIT
Also please feel free to give me any other opinions or comments regarding the build plan that I have laid out.
I'm sure there are things I'm missing or overlooking, but I'm still researching and trying to make sure i do this right the 1st time.
