Lots of info on the site about upgrades over the years.
All Grand Sports are great cars.
2012 -2013 have upgraded seats and Bose Sound system.
2011+ get a USB port for Nav radio and Mag Ride option if you are interested in that feature.

The newest model year you can find with the most options, in as close to new condition as you can find, with a 6 speed manual, and preferably in red with black interior and chrome wheels, and black hash marks! I hope that answered your question. And then change the navigation head unit out with an after market one, preferably the Pioneer 8200.

Personally I would go for the 2012-2013 model years. As stated above better seats and already had USB option. I shopped around until I found a '12 pretty much fully loaded. And of course M6

2011 has fewer 2 cats if your staying stock. after that the seats are what I would say is the biggest value.
I don't have Mag ride and don't need it or want it after reading about some woes.
Don't have "nav" and don't want that either.
Mine is an A-6 and wouldn't want the manual, personal tastes
Oh and do a search on the 4LT leather dash problems, pretty serious fix if it happens.
Color is your taste as well as everything else, GOOD LUCK

They are all pretty much = in terms of reliability.
The old saying is buy the newest lowest mileage car you can get.
A few differences
2010 - no optional head colored light options, Silver or chrome wheels
2011 - Added Gray Wheels, Added Colored headlight options
2012 - Improved seats, added 2nd set of cats (extra interior heat and quieter exhaust), centennial edition
2013-60th Aniversary Edition

I have an 11.....Prefer my seats over the 12-13 (look like camaro seats to me)....Also no mag ride, bought a Kenwood head unit to replace the non-nav unit mine had (better than factory unit)...I got a manual because I wanted the hand built LS3 and dry sump (only available on M6 coupes). Also didnt want the lexan roof. Love mine with absolutly no regrets.

For '12, the A-6 transmission shifting programming was updated/upgraded to shift more quickly.
With the older program, as was on my '08, waiting to upshift under full acceleration at 5500 rpm's you ran the risk of hitting the rev limiter and missing the shift. With the '12, I can upshift at close to 6,000 rpm's without hitting the rev limiter.

I got a low mileage 2010 for a good deal in 3 LT and used the extra money for a lot of mods, ripped out stock radio and put a Kenwood with navigation and touch screen and a lot of engine mods to get away from that stock Mickey Mouse 436 hp..and a lot of Carbon Fiber exterior stuff...Love the car....But if your not worried about money go newer...then do your mods,Corvettes are made to personalize....

The best one is the last model year built which is a 2013. Get the 3 or 4LT in the color of your choice.. Thats the best one. Lots of nice cars for sale out there right now, keep looking and find exactly what you want, don't get in a hurry.

So if you have these two options:
1- 2012 GS Yellow exterior (black/ebony interiors) done 20,000 miles only. for $30k
2- 2013 GS 60th Anniversary Edition Space Grey exterior (black/red interior) done 87,500 miles. For $30k
both are loaded with factory options.
Which one you go for!!??

If your choice is between the 12 with 20,000 and the 13 with 87,000 then clearly you want the 12 if all other things are the same. (1LT, 2LT, 3LT, 4LT, Mag Ride, Nav, HUD, etc...) I have a 13 3LT MN6 convertible (No dry sump oil system). The changes made in 12 carried over to the 13's. For the price you could add the HUD and an aftermarket Nav system to the 12 if it is a 1LT.

Only have owned 2 corvettes an 08 pace car and the current 12 GS. Love the Cyber gray GS! the 08 was 3LT and the 12 is 2LT. miss the Memory option a little but that is it! oh and the 12 is A6 which means the wife can enjoy driving it too! Not a big deal but when the wife is happy I am happy!
