I'm Back! Looking for 56-62 driver in the P.N.W.
Hi Corvette buddies!
I spent seven years doing a frame off on a 1957 Corvette, vin number 1851. That car cost me a lot of money, and obviously time! The car turned out nice, but kind of burned me out on Corvettes for a while. I'm told that somebody on the forum bought the car. I wonder how they're enjoying it.
In the meantime, I've opened up my own restaurant. Jake's Pickup, A mostly organic comfort food joint in the back of a gas station -where we prepare everything from scratch. We been the number one restaurant in the area on yelp for 2 1/2 years straight.
I'm 44 years old and I've had 18 Corvettes and since I was a kid. My favorite two being totally non-original cars.
So that being said, I am looking for an awesome non original driver. 56-62
I look forward to you catching up with some of you guys -it's been a long time.
Cheers,
Jake

thank you very much for all the leads and private messages! So these cars for 60 grand plus or minus are a little too steep for me. Plus no red cars please. I am sure they're worth every penny, but I'm on a little bit more of a shoestring budget. Basically looking for just a really solid driver, with rough paint on solid body and non original drivetrain. Thanks again! Jake

Here is a '62 current bid of ~ $32K but has not yet met reserve. It is a NOM so probably a $40K car or so but it IS red so...
http://www.ebay.com/itm/302314758647...%3AMEBIDX%3AIT
Here's a '62 that I think is advertised here on this forum as well
He is asking $46K

A '61 @ a $29K bid which has not yet met reserve. Likely an "under $40K" car IMHO

Safety Car
Some of these are older ads, so not sure if still available. Don't know how much work you want to do... You don't really save any money by getting a "cheaper" car up front that needs more done to it... but you probably know all about that already.
Anyway....
1958 Corvette resto- mod - $28000 (Bastrop, La.)
1962 corvette. For sale / trade - $35000
1962 corvette - $32500 (weaver al)
Maybe it is time to spread your wings... and go for something different...
1964 Coupe 327, Matching Numbers - $42,000.00 USD
On the plus side... park it out front and write it off as a business advertising expense
Anyway....
