Don't hesitate! One of the best mods I've done.
Sounds excellent.

Absolutely do it man. Take out a quarter and flip it: heads get the Corsa, tails get the Borla. You can't lose either way. I just happen to buy the Corsa EXTREMES mufflers first, so I wanted to keep it in the family. Otherwise, I'll probably go all Borla on my C8 just to change things up.

I really want somebody to drive my car so I can stand and hear the beautiful sounds from the OUTSIDE and back of the car!!

NO! Go Borla X-PIPE (cheaper) "adds" HP over "stock" (approx. 10+).

The Corsa X-PIPE loses torque/et & mph compaired to the "stock" X-PIPE; which I know from my own personal experience, so I sold the Corsa and got back my better "stock" et & mph of the factory catted X-pipe.

You got to ask yourself, do I want to spend money to make my car slooower than stock! and the Corsa X-pipe also weighs much more than the Borla which will reduce your cars weigh to boot.

Do a search.

PS: That's a beautiful car you got there, chrome wheels really make it POP!!!

Bring in down to MD and I'll do it for a big burger & coke at the local drag strip just so you can get the full on, no holes barred, totally unleashed complete effect!!! & a time slip.

I have the complete Extreme set-up and I certainly didn't lose any HP/TQ or mph. Corsa claims an additional 20 hp/15 tq on the Stingray w/the complete set-up at the 5:25 mark below. The Borla X-pipe is generally cheaper, and there is a lot of information on this forum to form your own opinion.

Remember he is adding "just" the X-PIPE and not a costly complete aftermarket system. With that said I'll stand by my "Real World" results.

I'll back C7Z06Man. I ran the Corsa pipes a few outing at the strip. Can't beat the sound. I switched to the Borlas and picked up a tenth with similar conditions. The Borlas don't sound as mean as the Corsas but I'll take the tenth

What's your estimation from your experience & knowledge in additional HP required to pick the C7/Z06 up by a tenth in the 1/4?

Like Z06NJ said, he wanted to keep it in the family
I'm torn right now; if I do an exhaust, I want to do Corsa, thus I'd want their XPipe. If I don't do an expensive exhaust, I'd probably be ok with Borla...wish we had audio clips of each side by side

There is a good breakdown of Corsa X vs Borla X, my biggest takeaway was the Corsa X Pipe slip on diameter was a little larger and would need to be very slightly crushed down to mate up to the stock exhaust. I assume it's a perfect fit

I don't believe that a 10th. is enough to prove anything regarding the exhaust changes . . . just to many other factors also involved on
any given day!!! Hell, you may of had more Wheaties that morning than before???
